The IMPACT National Conference is planned by volunteers who serve on sub-committees to support various components of conference preparation. Our National Planning Committee members have the opportunity to shape the conference experience through these sub-committees:
- Outreach
- Sponsorship
- Keynote
- Workshops
- Pre-Conference + Social Events
A planning committee member can expect to participate in about three planning meetings per month and spend up to three hours per week on conference planning work outside of meetings. The time commitment will depend slightly on the sub-committee and how close to the conference we are. Planning committee members will also be asked to arrive early to the conference location to assist with just-in-time set-up and logistical tasks.
